Habush receives lifetime achievement award
The Wisconsin Law Journal recently honored attorney Robert Habush with a lifetime achievement award for his 50 years of service to Wiconsin’s legal community.
He was honored at the organizaton’s 2011 Leaders in Law Awards Ceremony last night. Habush has been involved in signifcant cases thorughout the state of Wisconsin as well as federal court. Notable cases include the Miller Park Crane disaster and the State of Wisconsin lawsuit agains tthe tobacco industry.
Green Bay Packers ring bell on New York Stock Exchange
Green Bay Packers players Charles Woodson, Ryan Grant and John Kuhn, along with Packers president and chief executive officer Mark Murphy rang the closing bell on the New York Stock Exchange Wednesday. The Packers are the only publicly owned franchise in the NFL and has more than 112,000 shareholders, none of whom receive any dividend on their investment. BizTech Expo speaker targets Milwaukee’s Creative Class
Josh Linkner, founder and former chief executive officer of ePrize, the largest interactive promotion agency in the world, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Executive Strategies Breakfast at the BizTech Conference and Expo on May 11.
Presented in partnership with the Cultural Alliance of Greater Milwaukee, Linkner’s insights help companies with new product innovation, building and leading creative cultures, creative approaches to sales and marketing, crafting differentiated competitive strategies, unorthodox problem solving and applying creativity to startups and high-growth companies.

Before the age of 30 Linkner had started four companies and sold three of them, he recently launched his fifth company, Detroit Venture Partners, a venture capital firm. Along with business partners Dan Gilbert and Brian Hermelin, Linkner is actively investing in early-stage technology companies looking to help rebuild the Detroit region through entrepreneurship.
He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, AdAge, Inc. Magazine, Entrepreneur, Fast Company and AdWeek, and has won multiple business, technology and design awards, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, named to The Inc. 500 six years in a row, Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40, Fast Company’s Fast 50. He has also been named the Detroit Executive of the Year and the Automation Alley CEO of the Year.
His first venture ePrize has grown to more than 1200 employees and now provides digital marketing services for 74 of the top 100 brands in the world.
His new book, “Disciplined Dreaming: A Proven System to Drive Breakthrough Creativity,” will be published later this month.
