Racine-based SC Johnson & Son Inc. has acquired three brands from ACI Ltd. in Bangladesh.
The global household product manufacturer now owns the ACI Insecticides, Angelic Air Care and Vanish Toilet Cleaner brands, which will increase its presence in the expanding Bangladesh market.
“We’re excited to add ACI Insecticides and Angelic Air Care to our offering of market leading brands like Raid and Glade,” said Fisk Johnson, chairman and chief executive officer of SC Johnson. “These brands will help us strengthen our footprint in the growing Bangladesh market.”
SC Johnson, which has $9 billion in sales and about 13,000 employees around the world, makes products sold under the Glade, Kiwi, Off!, Windex and other well-known brands.
The company declined to disclose any further details about the transaction.
