Brookfield assisted living center sold for $2.4 million
Nashville, Tenn.-based Brookdale Senior Living Inc. recently purchased the assisted living facility at 685 Woelfel Road, in the Town of Brookfield, from Theresa, Wis.-based Aubrey Electric for $2.42 million.

Old World Third Street bar and restaurant for sale
A 13,000-square-foot restaurant and bar building, located at 1023 N. Old World Third St. in downtown Milwaukee, is being marketed for sale by Kristian Sydow of The Boerke Company. The building, which has a 3,500-square-foot rooftop deck, was formerly occupied by Irish Rec Room and Bootleggers. The list price is $1.475 million.

Sturtevant manufacturer to expand
American Metal Technologies LLC, a manufacturer of machined and assembled components, plans to build a 21,000-sqaure-foot addition to its headquarters at 8213 Durand Ave. The additional space will initially be used for storage but could later be used for manufacturing.

Fitness center to move from Walker’s Point to East Side
BrewCity CrossFit, a health and fitness facility, plans to move from a 2,500-square-foot space at 408 W. Florida St., in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood to a 9,200-square-foot building at 2340 N. Cambridge Ave., in Milwaukee’s East Side neighborhood. The building at 408 W. Florida St. was recently purchased by Milwaukee-based Dixon Development LLC and Madison-based Hovde Properties, which plan to convert it into an apartment building.

Behavior health clinic to open on north side

Horizon Healthcare Inc. plans to open a behavorial health clinic in a 5,408-square-foot bulding at 5408 W. Burleigh St. in Milwaukee. The building was previously occupied by Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group and is located near Wheaton Franciscan’s St. Joseph Hospital.

Doctor’s office to open on south side

Nova Medical Center LLC plans to open a family medical practice in a 3,708-square-foot building at 3501 W. Greenfield Ave. on Milwaukee’s south side.

Suburpia to open on Layton
Layton Sandwich Kings Inc. plans to open a Suburpia restaurant at 116 E. Layton Ave., Milwaukee. Suburpia is a fast food sandwich shop.
