Baker Tilly Investment Advisors LP has changed its name to Bronfman E.L. Rothschild L.P.
The firm is a registered investment advisor that has offices in Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton, Janesville and Minneapolis.
It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Chicago-based Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP until May 2013, when it received a capital investment from Matthew Bronfman and E.L Rothschild and became independent.
Bronfman is chairman and chief executive officer of BHB Holdings LLC, which has invested in many companies, including IKEA Israel, Israel Discount Bank and the Shufersal grocery chain.
“We were initially attracted to Baker Tilly Investment Advisors’ solid business model, but quickly realized how well our values aligned,” Bronfman said. “Our focus is always on trust, integrity and openness. Our long-term commitment is reflected in the fact that we are putting our names on the door.”
E.L. Rothschild LLC is a family-owned private investment holding company that makes global investments in media, financial services, infrastructure, technology, luxury goods and real estate on behalf of Sir Evelyn and Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild.

Matthew Bronfman, E.L. Rothschild, and existing BTIA leadership Bruce Laning, Kelly Baumbach and Brian Powers purchased the firm to create an independent investment advisory company.
The Bronfman and Rothschild partnership was formed to grow the company and provide clients with more resources, as well as expand geographically.
