Apartment building planned for low income seniors

The Volunteers of American National Services and the Shiloh Tabernacle Church plan to jointly develop a 45-unit apartment building at 3418-28 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Milwaukee, for low income senior citizens. The site is triangular-shaped property, located across the street from a Shiloh Baptist Church, at an area known as Five Corners where King, West Atkinson Avenue, West Keefe Avenue, North 6th Street and North Port Washington Road converge. The proposed four-story apartment building would be called Shiloh Manor at Five Points. It would be open to tenants who are 55 or older and whose incomes are less than 60 percent of the county median income.
