​Downtown employees to receive perks

Downtown Employee Appreciation Week will be held from July 30 to August 3 as a ‘thank you’ to the 82,000 employees who work downtown.

Games, giveaways, discounts and social activities will be held throughout the week.
Companies can support the event through sponsorship, VIP discounts, prize donations, employment opportunities, product sample donations, or rounding up a team for the Downtown Volleyball Challenge.
The leveled sponsorships provide an opportunity for businesses to bring attention to themselves or host an activity at the workplace as part of the week. Companies can also donate raffle or giveaway prizes or provide a link to employment opportunities on the event website.
Employees who sport a paperclip or show a company ID are entitled to a VIP discount. Companies can form teams for the Downtown Volleyball Challenge, which will be held July 30 and 31 at Bradford Beach.
A Downtown Battle of the bands will be held August 1 at Pere Marquette Park. Entry forms are available at www.milwaukeedowntown.com/iwork.
