Wolf Point developers revamp plan, gird for battle

Developers of the Wolf Point property have updated their plans for building three large towers along the Chicago River and will soon take part in the first of what could be several contentious meetings with the River North community.

The joint venture of the Kennedy family and Houston-based Hines Interests L.P. now proposes two mixed-use towers, standing 900 and 750 feet tall, and a 525-foot-tall residential tower with 510 units, according to an email Alderman Brendan Reilly (42nd) sent constituents Tuesday night. The email does not specify what would be in the mixed-use towers, but they are expected to include office space.
