Randy Mueller has been named president of Waterford-based employee mobility solutions company Runzheimer International.
He succeeds Greg Harper, who became president and chief executive officer of Runzheimer in 2005. Harper will remain with the company as a member of the board of directors.
Mueller has more than 25 years of experience in professional services, IT solutions, communications and software solutions, in both large corporate environments and high-growth entrepreneurial ventures. His career has included leadership roles at Ameritech, EDS, Hewlett-Packard and Dell. Most recently, Mueller served as group president at Education Corporation of America.
He holds a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from DePaul University. Mueller is also a certified public accountant.
“I am excited to welcome Randy to the organization,” said Rex Runzheimer, chairman of Runzheimer International. “Our organization is committed to growth and to the development of leading-edge solutions and services that empower mobile employees and enable companies to be more effective. The collective experience and industry knowledge that Randy has is an enormous asset to our organization.”
