Plymouth contractor to retire, close business after 33 years

Jim Pankow, the owner of Plymouth-based construction company Jim Pankow Inc., has decided to retire and will end his company’s operations and sell the business’ assets.
The company has been in business for 33 years. Pankow started the company building single family homes. Later he built commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
Pankow hired Prairie Farm-based Hansen & Young Auctioneers Inc. to sell the business chattel on an online auction that will end on Sept. 13. Auction items can be inspected on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 2-7 p.m. at Jim Pankow Inc., W5073 County O, Plymouth.
