The Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC) will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:50 p.m. today for its new fitness center at the southwest corner of Pilgrim Road and U.S. Highway 41/45 in Menomonee Falls.
The WAC fitness center occupies a one-story, 47,500-square-foot space in a new building at the site. The facility includes an aquatic center, gym, training studio, three group exercise studios, fitness areas and locker rooms. The aquatic offerings are the largest of its kind for the Wisconsin Athletic Club including two indoor pools, a whirlpool and an outdoor lap pool.
The WAC fitness center will share the new 90,000-square-foot $14 million facility with the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Orthopaedic, Sports and Spine Center.
Minneapolis-based real estate development firm Ryan Companies U.S. Inc. is the developer for the building.
