Milwaukee attorney James P. Connelly has resigned his post as chairman of the board at Madison-based Exact Sciences Corp. for “personal reasons.”
Connelly, a retired Foley & Lardner LLP partner, had been a director since 2009 and chairman since 2010. He resigned earlier this week.
The company announced today he has been replaced by Kevin T. Conroy, president and chief executive of the molecular diagnostics company, which focuses on the early detection and prevention of colorectal cancer.
