Koppa’s Farwell Foods, which operates the iconic Fulbeli Deli and grocery store on Milwaukee’s east side, has been sold to Krishveer LLC.
The deli was sold by Ken Koppa, who will pursuit other business interests. The Koppa name and menu will be retained by the business.
The neighborhood deli has won several notable awards for its signature sandwiches. In 2007, Koppa’s won best sandwich shop for WISN’s A-List. Koppa’s is a kitschy grocery store known for fun food offerings such as peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Customers also enjoy playing the free Atari game while shopping or waiting for a sandwich.
Business broker Todd Ruhkick of Sunbelt Midwest represented the seller in the transaction. Small business lawyer, J.P. Fernandes advised on the closing transaction.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
