Although it has operating since its "soft opening" in February, a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for the Staybridge Suites hotel in Franklin will be held today at 4:30 p.m. The 5-story, 118-room extended stay hotel is located at the southwest corner of South 27th Street and Ryan Road. “The people of Franklin have waited many years for a new, quality hotel in which to house their friends, family and business associates," said Franklin Mayor Tom Taylor. The general contractor for the hotel construction was Waukesha-based The Redmond Company.
