Benelux Grand Café and Market, a European market and café, will open in the former Good Harvest store space at 346 N. Broadway, located near the Milwaukee Public Market in the city’s Historic Third Ward.
Good Harvest, an organic grocery store, closed earlier this year.
Benelux will be owned by DiablosRojos LLC, which owns Trocadero, Cafe Hollander and Cafe Centraal. It will open near the end of the year following an extensive remodeling project.
Ron San Felippo, chairman of the Third Ward business improvement district said the changes to the building may include the addition of a large roof deck for outdoor dining.
The Public Market owns the building that Benelux will occupy.
"We are excited to have Eric Wagner, Co-President of Diablos Rojos, LLC join us at the Public Market,” San Felippo said. “Eric and his locally owned group have a solid history of quality offerings to our community and we feel they will be a fine addition to the Public Market and the Historic Third Ward community.”
