Forbes magazine has valued the Milwaukee Brewers at $565 million.
The magazine’s annual valuation of every Major League Baseball team puts the Milwaukee Brewers 25th of the league’s 30 teams.
The report says in 2013, the team had $197 million in revenue and $6.8 million in operating income.
The New York Yankees rank first on the list with a value of $2.5 billion. The Tampa Bay Rays rank last with a value of $485 million.
Among teams in the National League Central division, the Brewers rank last. The Chicago Cubs are first in the division and fourth overall, valued at $1.2 billion, followed by the St. Louis Cardinals (8th overall, $820 million), Cincinnati Reds (20th, $600 million), and Pittsburgh Pirates (23rd, $572 million).
On last year’s list, the Brewers ranked 22nd, with a value of $562 million, with $201 million in revenue and $9 million in operating income in 2012.
