Pettit Ice Center appoints new executive director
The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Site in West Allis, recently announced the selection of Randy Dean as its new executive director.

Dean, a native of Whitefish Bay, brings athletic, development and managerial experience and success to his new role. He recently served as the director of athletics and development over a 10-year year period at University School of Milwaukee. He also served as president of the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center during its successful major capital campaign to build its new visitor and education center.

Dean’s athletic background includes competition at the Olympic, professional and collegiate levels. Dean was a member of the United States Olympic team handball team that competed in the 1976 Montreal Olympics.

From 1977 through 1979, Dean was a quarterback for the New York Giants.

Winkel is WCAN’s new executive director
The Waukesha County Action Network’s (WCAN) board of directors recently named Carol Winkel as the new executive director of the organization.

Winkel succeeds Carla Rutley, who recently resigned to pursue other career opportunities.

Winkel brings more than 16 years of experience in strategic community partnerships, program development, outreach, and project management to the WCAN. She has worked for the past eight years as director of governmental and community relations for Marquette University. She previously worked as the community projects manager for the Journal Broadcast Group’s Milwaukee operations.

Officially established in 2005 following a year of strategic planning and development, the WCAN’s mission is to evaluate unique and broad public policy issues, recommend improvements and drive action toward efficient and effective delivery of services. The organization currently concentrates its efforts on four focus areas: infrastructure, education, public safety, and arts and culture.

Fullhouse promotes Zoromski to president
Fullhouse, a Milwaukee-based interactive marketing agency with an office in Chicago, recently announced that Eric Zoromski has been promoted from vice president to president.

Former president Glenn Kleiman is taking a new role as chairman of the company.

Zoromski joined Fullhouse in 1995, when the firm was known as as Channel One, to add interactive capabilities to what at the time was a small video production company.

In his new role, Zoromski will continue to be responsible for overseeing the overall agency vision and client services business development. Kleiman will focus on financials and operations, as well as corporate culture.

Over his 13-year career with Fullhouse, Zoromski has guided the development of business-to-business and consumer marketing and communications programs for a wide range of companies, including MillerCoors, Kimberly-Clark, Manpower Inc., GE Healthcare and Johnson Controls Inc.
