Davis & Kuelthau law firm expanding in Waukesha Co.

The Milwaukee-based law firm of Davis & Kuelthau will acquire the law firm of Roth & Binn, located in Brookfield. With the tranaction, which becomes effective Oct. 1, Roth & Binn will bring two attorneys to Davis & Kuelthau, taking the total firm-wide attorney count to 86.

The addition marks the fourth expansion of Davis & Kuelthau in the past two years, and the second expansion aimed directly at the Waukesha County market.
In 2001, Davis & Kuelthau acquired the Elm Grove office of Gerard J. Flood. Since then, the firm has been committed to establishing a full-service Waukesha County office, said Mark Vetter, president of Davis & Kuelthau.
"Bob Roth brings more than 27 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation and general business and corporate work to the firm," Vetter said. "He is an established member of the Waukesha legal community and will be a tremendous asset to our clients in the Waukesha County area. One of our long-term strategic goals has always been to provide legal services to private and public-sector businesses throughout the state. Our pattern of growth over the past five years in southeastern Wisconsin and the Fox Valley is indicative of our commitment to be accessible to clients and to fully understand our clients’ communities."
Davis & Kuelthau will retain the current office location of Roth & Binn as well as the office in Elm Grove. In the first quarter of 2003, work will begin on new office space in Waukesha County that will house both groups as well as some transfers from the Milwaukee office.
Once the new office space is completed, it will be staffed with attorneys from each of the firm’s major practice areas: business and corporate law, labor and employment, civil and commercial litigation, environmental law, employee benefits, municipal and school law, real estate and construction, and trusts and estates.
