Favorite musician or band: “I’m a big fan of supporting our local music scene, especially since we have such talent.  Because I am so familiar with his talents, I love Mark Thierfelder who plays here at Piano Blu.  I also enjoy Joe Hite over at Centanni.”
Favorite place to visit/vacation: “Napa Valley- you can’t beat the fresh ingredients and the fantastic wines.”
Favorite local restaurant: “Piano Blu- of course!  But if I had to choose somewhere else, Carina’s Conca D’Oro because the divine can be found in garlic!”

What is your core philosophy for doing business? “Provide happiness and joy through food, service and teamwork. In regards to food: only the highest standards of quality, freshness and seasonality combined with a nod to the creative and a respect for the traditional in styles of cooking. In regards to service: create an excitement to come back again through demonstrating warmth, graciousness, efficiency, knowledge, professionalism and integrity in our work. In regards to our team: deliver a rewarding environment for long-term, satisfying employment.”
Who is your role model and why? “Andrea Immer Robinson, to be one of 16 women who have achieved master sommelier and to be the only woman named best Sommelier in America is a tremendous feat and brings a smile to my face every time I think of her.”
