Oconomowoc-based Rogers Behavioral Health opened its Chicago-area outpatient treatment center today. Located in Skokie at 4711 Golf Rd., Suite 600, the location marks Rogers’ third regional outpatient clinic. The others are in Tampa, Fla., and Nashville, Tenn.
Encompassing 12,000 square feet of treatment space, the facility will offer a partial hospitalization program for adults, adolescents and children diagnosed with OCD and anxiety. It will consist of a treatment plan that is six hours a day, five days per week, as well as an intensive outpatient program for those with less severe symptoms. This program will consist of a treatment plan that is three hours a day, four days per week. Each program will be able accommodate eight patients, for a total of 32. The usual length of participation for both of these programs is four to six weeks.
“The approach Rogers takes to OCD and anxiety therapy is evidence-based, or those in which research studies have documented and proven them to be the most effective treatment,” said Karen Cassiday, clinical director for Rogers Behavioral Health-Chicago. “They are nationally recognized for their OCD and anxiety programs and I am excited to work with them to meet the demand for these treatment services.
“Our goal is to create individual treatments plans, not only to address a patient’s specific need, but to help them feel empowered in their treatment. The PHP and IOP levels of treatment provide support and therapy, but allow patients to go home and use their skills with everyday activities. This helps create a stronger transition when they leave the program.”
Rogers also currently treats behavioral health patients in Oconomowoc, Brown Deer, West Allis, Kenosha and Madison. Additionally, Rogers plans to open a specialized regional treatment center in Appleton in the fall.
