Hupy and Abraham accepting Zofran cases

The Milwaukee-based personal injury firm of Hupy and Abraham S.C has announced that it is now accepting cases involving Zofran (ondansetron), an anti-nausea medication.

Typically, Zofran is prescribed to chemotherapy and radiation patients, but it is commonly administered “off-label” to pregnant women to combat morning sickness. Research, however, shows that Zofran is dangerous for fetuses in early development and increases the risk of birth defects, congenial heart defects and jaundice.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved Zofran for use against morning sickness, according to Hupy and Abraham.
