United Way of Racine County in search of next CEO

United Way of Racine County’s board of directors has started conducting a national search for the nonprofit organization’s next chief executive officer (CEO).

United Way of Racine County is partnering with Milwaukee-based Spano Pratt Executive Search in facilitating the search process.

The organization’s CEO will focus on leadership and strategic direction initiatives in advancing United Way’s dedication to education, health and income. With a $5.25 million campaign, United Way of Racine County donates funds to more than 60 programs and projects aimed at community development in the nonprofit’s three core focus areas.

The CEO’s specific responsibilities will include fundraising, community leadership, program development, community impact and organizational management.

United Way of Racine County impacts two out of every three families living in Racine during their lifetime, according to the organization.
