Mertz Associates closes second deal of 2008
Fast Heat Inc., an Elmhurst, IL based company, sold its U.S. range of heating elements and sensors to Tutco Inc., a world leader in heating technology, last week.
Mertz Associates Inc., a Waukesha-based investment banking and M&A brokerage firm, advised Fast Heat and facilitated the transaction.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Tutco will continue to supply heating elements to Fast Heat customers and is licensed to use the brand name in North America for two years.
