MSOE names new CFO

The Milwaukee School of Engineering announced that Paul Matson has been named its new vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

Matson succeeds Dawn Thibedeau, who retired from the university after nine years of service.

Previously, Matson was corporate controller and treasurer for Milwaukee-based Versiti Inc. He has also held leadership roles at CHS Inc., EFCO Corp., Harley-Davidson Motor Co., Pioneer Hi-Bred International (DuPont), and Waste Management International.

“I am excited to welcome Paul to MSOE. His experience in helping organizations reach their strategic goals and driving results will be a great asset to MSOE as we continue advancing our strategic plan,” said Dr. John Walz, president of MSOE.
