Baird Center
The Baird Center is a convention and exhibition center located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's part of a larger complex that includes the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Miller High Life Theatre. It was originally opened in 1998 as the Wisconsin Center and was renamed the Baird Center in 2023 after receiving a significant donation from the Robert W. Baird Group.
Recent Expansion and Modernization
The Baird Center has recently undergone a major expansion and modernization project, which was completed in May 2024. This project increased the center's exhibition hall space by 112,000 square feet, bringing it to a total of 300,000 contiguous square feet. It also added a new 30,000-square-foot rooftop ballroom, 30 meeting rooms, a 450-vehicle parking ramp, and modernized the existing spaces.Related Stories
