West Bend Mutual Insurance today announced it has been named to the list of “100 Best Workplaces for Women in 2016” by Fortune Magazine. As reported by Great Place To Work®, the winners make up an impressive list of companies that are serious about creating a great, comfortable workplace with transparency. West Bend earned this honor by distinguishing itself from its peers based on the company’s high representation of women in its total associate population, as well as by high associate ratings overall.
Based on feedback from an August 2016 associate survey, West Bend has also been Certified as a Great Place To Work® Company. The findings from that survey will be used to determine the 2017 Best Workplaces lists, also a Fortune Magazine list.
“West Bend Mutual Insurance has worked hard over the last century to provide the highest level of service to our customers and to grow our business,” said Kevin Steiner, President and CEO of West Bend Mutual Insurance. “That same level of devotion is given to all of our associates, and we’re very happy for the continued support in making West Bend a Great Place To Work®.”
