The Equitable Bank

For the fourth consecutive year, The Equitable Bank, Wauwatosa, will be helping to “Go Gold” throughout the month of September in support of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds raised will go to the I Back Jack Foundation, a local Gold in September (G9) affiliate organization. The goal of Gold in September is to raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research and treatments.
“Equitable supports many area nonprofits and community groups, but this is one that our employees really rally around. We have coworkers who are affected by pediatric cancer, so it’s very personal for us”, said Rachel Schwab, Marketing and Brand Director.
All Equitable Bank locations will be promoting Gold in September by selling paper G9 icons and gold ribbons throughout the month. Many branches will hold bake sales and other events, including “employee jeans days”, to help raise additional funds.
