How does your organization prioritize and promote happiness and life satisfaction among employees?

From day one, I founded Granular with the intent to be a better place to work for digital marketing professionals. We make strides towards that goal every day, with amazing perks, a strong culture built on trust, and a level of autonomy and respect from the top down. On top of competitive pay and generous perks, we believe that time off and opportunities to balance work and life are key factors for employee happiness. One of our biggest initiatives is our paid sabbatical. After just three years of service, employees are eligible to take one month off, fully paid to unplug and recharge. We also give additional funds for a travel stipend to encourage them to change their scenery during their time off.

What steps does your company take to help employees find meaning and purpose in their work?

What we do has real meaning to our clients and the businesses we serve. As a performance-focused digital agency, we’re responsible for growing businesses – often in a direct ROI. Working with large corporations doesn’t always tie back to a 1:1 relationship between the work we do and the lives we impact. However, it’s crystal clear with our smaller business and family-run clients how we impact their lives.
