Waukesha State Bank, a full-service community bank with 14 locations in Waukesha County, has hired Sherri Krabath as mortgage consultant.
“We are pleased to welcome Sherri to the Waukesha State Bank mortgage lending team,” stated Robert B. Helvey, Waukesha State Bank vice president – mortgage lending manager. “Her hire reflects our ongoing commitment to serving borrowers in Waukesha County.”
Krabath comes to Waukesha State Bank from Equitable Bank, where she served as senior mortgage loan officer. She has over 34 years of financial experience with 23 years of residential lending expertise. Sherri holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, and in her new role as mortgage consultant, she will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, which includes meeting with prospects, taking mortgage applications, counseling borrowers and developing relationships with Realtors, builders, financial service providers and various community groups.
She has a strong commitment to the community, serving on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association – Milwaukee Chapter and Broads for a Cause, as well as being a member of Lending Ladies, the Women’s Council of Realtors and the Metropolitan Builders Association.
