Sebastian “Saj” Thachenkary

Sebastian “Saj” Thachenkary has been appointed executive director of marketing and community engagement at Milwaukee School of Engineering. He will direct the university’s brand and marketing strategy and oversee the Marketing and Public Affairs Department, Grohmann Museum, WMSE 91.7FM, and content of the university web and digital communications. Thachenkary’s experience spans several industries and includes corporate communications, public relations, integrated brand and marketing strategy, business development and strategic partnerships. He comes to MSOE from Alverno College, where he served as director of marketing communications. Prior, he was VP of marketing communications for Johnson Financial Group and he was brand manager and marketing director for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
