Ricardo Broach has joined RLH Associates of Delavan as director of Latino Management Consultation Services. Holder of a doctor of ministry degree with an emphasis on working in multi-cultural groups, he is responsible for marketing and program development.
Robert W. Baird & Co. has named David W. Thickens senior research analyst for Baird Investment Management. Thickens, a certified financial analyst, was most recently with Northern Asset Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
Hermle Machine Co. of Franklin has named Ken Merk as executive vice president for sales and service. The company is a division of Berthold Hermle AG of Gosheim, Germany, and manufactures high-precision machining centers. A native of Milwaukee, Merk studied at Milwaukee Area Technical College and apprenticed at Kearney & Trecker.
Judi Austin has been named production coordinator at Milwaukee-based Blue Horse, a marketing, advertising and public relations firm. She had previously been associated with Cramer-Krasselt in Milwaukee. She holds a degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
Lanette Altenbach has been named senior project hydrologist in the Environmental Group of the Milwaukee regional office of STS Consultants. The organization has also added Timothy Wood as project engineer and Sean Beinecke as assistant project hydrologist.
Two Madison trial lawyers, Curtis C. Swanson and Joy L. O’Grosky, have joined von Briesen, Purtell & Roper as shareholders of the Milwaukee law firm. They have opened the Madison office of the firm at 10 E. Doty St.
Rick Nierzwicki has been named president and chief operating officer of Peter Schwabe, Inc., in Big Bend. He is the construction firm’s first non-family president in its 73-year history. Dan Schwabe will serve as chairman of the board. Nierzwicki, of Delafield, has worked in the Milwaukee area for the past 12 years.
Debra DeWitt has been hired as senior risk management consultant for Aegis Corp. in Brookfield. Most recently, she was director of safety for Miron Construction Co. She is a certified OSHA instructor. She also holds a diploma in practical nursing from Lakeshore Technical College.
CartaNova, of Mequon, has announced that Lawrence W. Wells has been named vice president of marketing for the enterprise contextual computing software and devices firm. Prior to joining CartaNova Wells was manager of the premier magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) programs (Signa NV/i and VH/i) of GE Medical Systems. Wells holds master of business administration and bachelor of business administration degrees from UW-Whitewater.
