Melinda Waite, Membership and Marketing Manager at Association Acumen, has received the Evolving Eagle award from Association Acumen. The annual award is presented to the individual who has grown the most professionally and consistently demonstrated excellence in her/his position by making the most improvements to a specific client and to Association Acumen.

Waite serves as the Membership and Marketing Manager for the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS) and Women in Ophthalmology (WIO), two of Acumen’s clients. In her role with FOCIS and WIO, Melinda has created and successfully implemented targeted marketing and membership campaigns, with multi-faceted outreach, including web and social media-based promotions, print advertisements and email campaigns. Melinda is also responsible for meeting management and content development for print and electronic publications. Education: Melinda holds a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winona State University in Minnesota.
