Quarles & Brady, Milwaukee, has hired Meghan O’Connor as a partner in its Health Law Practice Group. Her practice focuses on issues related to data privacy and security, data breach, health information technology, and Internet of Things and connected medical devices, with special emphasis on HIPAA, HITECH, and state law compliance.
She also provides legal and strategic counsel to health care, government, and corporate clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance, managed care, insurance, transactional, and general corporate matters.
O’Connor received her law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Lawrence University.
