Lora Kosanke, third-year apprentice at Brookfield-based Lemberg Electric Company, was recently recognized by MATC with the Practical Skills Award at the Apprenticeship Banquet in April. Kosanke represents a non-traditional workforce in the electrical industry. Recognition of her performance may open the door to new thinking around workforce development among trades trying to fill talent gaps.
