Laura Lutter Cole has joined the staff of VISIT Milwaukee as convention sales manager. In her position, Lutter Cole will focus on corporate business sales in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan.
Lutter Cole comes to VISIT Milwaukee after six years with Marcus Hotels and Resorts, where she served as director of restaurant sales, and later as senior account executive, focusing on East Coast-based national associations and key corporate accounts.
“Laura’s experience with Marcus Hotels & Resorts makes her uniquely qualified to promote Milwaukee as a sought-after destination for the corporate market. We are happy to welcome her to the VISIT Milwaukee sales team,” said Paul Upchurch, president and CEO at VISIT Milwaukee.
A graduate of UW-La Crosse, Lutter Cole has also been honored as one of the Business Journal of Milwaukee’s “40 Under 40” as owner of a successful business on Brady Street, where she also served as president of the Brady Street Improvement District.
