John Heimsch

U.S. Cellular recently announced that John Heimsch, Director of Sales for Wisconsin and northern Illinois, has been named to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee’s Board of Trustees. Heimsch oversees sales at the wireless carrier’s 49 corporate-owned locations throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

U.S. Cellular has a longstanding commitment to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Recently the company made a $60,000 donation towards Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) educational opportunities at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Milwaukee. This donation was part of a $1.3 million national commitment to to Boys & Girls Clubs of America and National 4-H Council to boost the learning experience for youth and communities by championing K-12 and STEM educational programs.

A graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and a master’s in industrial administration, Heimsch has been with U.S. Cellular for more than 20 years. Heimsch and his wife live in Pewaukee with their three children. He coaches his oldest son’s baseball team and enjoys outdoor sports year round.
