Greg Dick

Following the successful merger of The University Club of Milwaukee and Tripoli Country Club, the new combined club, which will retain the University Club of Milwaukee name, has announced the appointment of Greg Dick as general manager. In his new role, Dick will oversee and manage all activities at both the City and Country Clubs.

Originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Greg Dick is returning to his home state to serve as general manager. His appointment was unanimously and enthusiastically nominated by the University Club’s member driven search committee and was equally approved by the Club’s board of directors.

Dick has more than 24 years of management experience overseeing both country and downtown club offerings at premier resorts throughout the United States, a rare find within the private club industry. He has directed operations for top-rated golf courses, premier dining venues, and business meeting and events sites. He previously served as vice president and general manager of the Tanglewood Resort and Conference Center, a 650-acre resort and residential community on Lake Texoma in Pottsboro, Texas.

Dick is a 25-year member of the PGA of America and is a member of the Wisconsin State Golf Association Hall of Fame. He is the past president of the board of directors for Sherman Boys and Girls Club and a National Medallion Award recipient from the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
