Announcing 2016-2017 Board of Directors

   

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast announces that Carita Twinem, community volunteer and former vice president of tax at Spectrum Brand Holdings, Inc., has been elected chair of the 2016-2017 Board of Directors.

Additional board leaders include DeVona Wright Cottrell, director and associate general counsel at Robert W. Baird & Company – First Vice Chair; Andrew Narrai, chief marketing officer at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. – Second Vice Chair; Nicole Best, senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer at Heartland Advisors, Inc., Treasurer; and Lora Strigens, associate vice president for finance and chief university architect and planner at Marquette University – Secretary.

Serving as Board Members-at-Large are Kelsey Palmer Brenn, chief financial officer at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy; Krista Brookman, vice president, inclusive leadership initiative at Catalyst; Deborah Ford, chancellor at University Of Wisconsin – Parkside; Deirdra Copeland Gonsalves, global head of enterprise resource groups at BMO Financial Group; Veronica Gunn, vice president population health at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin; Kerrie Hoffman, vice president of information technology at Johnson Controls, Inc.; Karla Krehbiel, regional president at Johnson Bank; Anne Martino, vice president of consumer insights and innovation at Aurora Health Care; Robert Monnat, partner and chief operating officer at Mandel Group, Inc.; Marcelline Pelzer, senior director community investment at Time Warner Cable; Billie Jean Smith, intellectual property attorney at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP; Cynthia Thomas, co-founder and chief executive officer at Translator; Mark Thomas, vice president and chief operating officer at Sojourner Family Peace Center; and Sandy Wysocki, chief development officer, United Performing Arts Fund.

Serving as Girl Members-at-Large are Brooke McArdle, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, and Tien Vo, Pewaukee High School.

Elected to the Board Development Committee are: Sandy Wysocki, chief development officer at United Performing Arts Fund ; Stephen Adams, public involvement and outreach coordinator at Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission; Griselda Aldrete, president and chief executive officer of Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee; Christa Baldridge, shareholder at Schenck S.C.; Krista Brookman, vice president, inclusive leadership initiative at Catalyst; Deborah Ford, chancellor at University of Wisconsin – Parkside; Deirdra Copeland Gonsalves, global head of enterprise resource groups at BMO Financial Group; and Billie Jean Smith, intellectual property attorney at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.
