Computer and electronics retailer purchases Wauwatosa site

Hilliard, Ohio-based Micro Electronics Inc. recently purchased a 5.7-acre site, formerly occupied by a pair of auto dealerships, at 11221 and 11333 W. Burleigh St. in Wauwatosa for $1.35 million.

Don Zien of CB Richard Ellis and Joel Schneider of Atlas Partners Chicago represented the seller in brokering the deal. The property was sold for a receiver who was representing a bank, Zien said. He said he could not disclose additional details.

“It appears they bought it to put their store on it, but they didn’t tell us that,” Zien said.
