Michael Best proudly announces the Wisconsin Law Journal’s selection of attorney Amy O. Bruchs as a 2017 Women in the Law award recipient. The annual award honors top women attorneys for their outstanding achievements in the legal field and community, while paving the way to success for other women in the legal profession.
Bruchs serves as the Managing Partner for the Madison office and a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Relations Practice Group, one of the firm’s largest practice areas and a top-ranked practice in Wisconsin. Her practice focuses on employment and business-related issues in both litigation and non-litigation settings including discrimination claims, workers’ compensation, wage and hour issues, labor disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and more. Having had a large number of bench and jury trials in both state and federal court, Bruchs ranks among the firm’s most experienced trial attorneys.
Since joining Michael Best in 1992, Bruchs has not only advanced her professional career, but she has also made an impact on many young attorneys, mentoring women attorneys and developing women’s initiatives within the firm. Bruchs has focused her efforts specifically on the retention of female attorneys, making a large impact in the Madison office.
Bruchs is also involved in the community by serving as the President on the Board of Directors for ARC Community Services, as well as a board member for the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.
Bruchs, along with all 2017 Women in the Law award recipients, will be honored at an event hosted by the Wisconsin Law Journal on June 7, 2017, at Discovery World in downtown Milwaukee.
