Last week Ian Walsh resigned as chief operating officer of Milwaukee-based REV Group, Inc., the company disclosed in a filing with the SEC.
REV Group has not appointed a successor to Walsh at this time. All of his responsibilities will be assumed by other members of the company’s management team, the company indicated in its public filing.
REV Group is a manufacturer of specialty vehicles, including buses, fire trucks, ambulances, and recreational vehicles.
Walsh joined REV Group as COO in June of 2018. Prior to that he worked for Providence, R.I.-based Textron, Inc., most recently as president and chief executive officer of TRU Simulation and Training.
REV Group reported a net loss of $7.6 million in its fiscal second quarter and a net loss of $16.7 million for the first half of the fiscal year. The company reported $547 million in sales during the second quarter, down 11.1% year-over-year.
Last month, the company announced it planned to cut 43 jobs from its Milwaukee-area workforce.
Earlier this year, REV Group named a new CEO, replacing Tim Sullivan with former Johnson Controls executive Rod Rushing.
In June, the company named a new chief financial officer with Mark Skonieczny replacing Dean Nolden, who stepped down. Skonieczny had also previously been an executive for Johnson Controls. Nolden is now the CFO for Nashotah-based Techniplas.
