Today is the registration deadline for the annual
BizTimes Milwaukee Commercial Real Estate and Development Conference, which will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.
“Mythbusters” will be the theme of the event. A panel of commercial real estate industry insiders will dispel some of the most common myths held about the southeastern Wisconsin commercial real estate market. Panelists will analyze the booming development of new hotels and apartment buildings in the area and offer insight on the state of the region’s office, industrial and retail markets.

The panelists will include:
- Doug Nysse, principal, Arrival Partners
- Bill Bonifas, executive vice president, CBRE
- James T. Barry III, president, The Barry Company
- Robert Monnat, partner, Mandel Group Inc.
- Bruce Westling, principal, NAI MLG Commercial.
The emcee for the conference will be
Dr. Mark Eppli, real estate chair and finance professor for
Marquette University.
Each year about 400 developers, brokers, architects, engineers, contractors, bankers, attorneys, government officials and others interested in the region’s commercial real estate industry attend the event.
