Kenosha-based
Snap-on Inc. has acquired AutoCrib Inc. for $36 million in cash, according to an announcement from the company.
AutoCrib is based in Tustin, California and had around $30 million in sales last year. The company is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of tool and asset control solutions.
Snap-on said the deal would complement and expand its existing tool control offering to customers in a variety of industrial applications, including aerospace, automotive, military, natural resources and general industry.
The deal closed on Sept. 28.
