Biztimes Media is proud to announce our upcoming section of Notable Leaders in Construction, Real Estate & Design.  Milwaukee’s Construction, Real Estate and Design leaders have built Milwaukee’s business foundation – and more. BizTimes Milwaukee will be celebrating the professionals who are changing Milwaukee’s skyline with a special editorial feature within our April 15, 2024, issue and online (Biztimes.com).

Organizations and individuals are invited to submit a nomination that will help BizTimes determine the honorees. This special section will recognize individuals primarily for (but not limited to) their accomplishments during the past 12 to 18 months.

Forms must be completed and submitted by March 8, 2024.

ALL sections of the form must be completed for consideration. You also must upload a high-resolution digital headshot (300 dpi minimum) and a bio/nomination about your nominee (up to 300 words).

Please bear in mind that the final honoree profiles will be created using only the information supplied in the nomination form, so include all relevant details. Also, all subjective statements must be attributed (or we will attribute them to the nominator).

BizTimes Milwaukee editorial staff will edit submitted information to meet style and editorial standards and the final profile word limit of 150-170. Please do not include information that is subject to change by the publication/posting date or that you consider to be confidential.

Important criteria:

• Nominees must be currently serving in a senior level role at their organization (three levels or fewer from the CEO).
• Must be in profession a minimum of 10 years.
• Must be employed within a construction, commercial real estate, architecture, engineering or commercial design firm (excluding residential real estate and interior design).
• Construction/Engineering firms must have annual revenue of at least $10 million. Architecture and design firms must have annual revenue of at least $1 million.
• Commercial real estate nominees must have a portfolio of commercial properties owned or developed equaling $100 million or have done at least $10 million in commercial property sales on average over the last 2 years.
• Has worked on significant projects during the past 18 months.
• Executives have made significant contributions to advancing equity and inclusion in a construction, real estate and/or design professions.
• Executives have served as a role model or mentor.
• Nominees also have assumed a leadership position outside of their own organization including professional organizations and civic/community service initiatives.

We will accept up to three submissions per organization.
