Katie Havener has joined R.A. Smith National,Brookfield, as a civil engineer in the land development services division. Havener held a co-op position with the firm while earning her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Havener assists project managers with the design, drafting and permitting of various projects. Her experience includes the design of grading, storm water management, water main, sanitary sewer and paving plans. She has worked on a variety of projects including Mayfair Mall (Wauwatosa, Wis.), Portillo’s (Brookfield, Wis. and Gurnee, Ill.) and Jersey Gardens Mall (Elizabeth, N.J.). R.A. Smith National is a multi-disciplined civil and structural engineering and surveying firm — headquartered in Brookfield, Wis. with offices nationwide.
