Join the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, April 24th, for its second Quarterly Speakers Forum of 2024 – Econs vs. Humans: Business and Practical Insights from the World of Behavioral Economics.
At this program, attendees will hear from Dr. Scott Niederjohn, Professor of Economics and Director of the Free Enterprise Center at Concordia University. Dr. Niederjohn will discuss an emerging social science field where psychology meets economics called behavioral economics, a number of common cognitive biases, including anchoring, loss aversion, and status quo bias, how behavioral economics research has influenced decision making in business areas like finance, marketing, and organizational behavior, as well as further implications for non-profits and government policy.
