Join us for the 2023 BBB Ethics Awards Luncheon, where Better Business Bureau honors the recipients of the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics, BBB Spark Awards for Entrepreneurship and BBB Students of Integrity Scholarship. This signature event recognizes ethics, integrity and leadership across the state of Wisconsin at all stages. You should attend this signature BBB event to network and connect with business owners, stakeholders, nonprofit executives and other associates from throughout the state of Wisconsin. We will honor the 2023 Ethics Award recipients and learn more about ethical business practices in our local marketplace.

Master of Ceremonies: Mary Stoker Smith, Anchor for FOX6 News in Milwaukee
Mary anchors FOX6 News at 5 and 10. She also frequently writes and reports on cutting-edge health stories for evening newscasts. Mary serves the community in many ways, including emceeing and hosting the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Milwaukee’s Lakefront, the American Heart Association to promote the Red Dress Campaign, the Debutante Cotillion honoring students for their academic and volunteer work, the Oconomowoc Woman’s Club Style Show, and the STOP Program Awards Ceremony with MPD and students from MPS. Mary has also worked with the Ronald McDonald House, emceeing its annual gala.

Acuity Insurance has been in business since 1925, protecting individuals, families, and businesses with innovative insurance products backed by world-class customer service. Based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Acuity has a proud history of corporate philanthropy, hosting charitable events, and employee volunteerism. They are a 2022 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics winner. Joel has been with Acuity Insurance for 12 years and has worked in varying departments and in different capacities. Currently he is General Manager in Acuity’s sales department where he manages Midwest and non-traditional distribution. At the 2023 BBB Ethics Awards Luncheon, Joel will discuss the importance of the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics application’s 4 C’s (character, culture, customers and community) as it relates to Acuity’s organization.
