Milwaukee-based Clinical Path Consulting (CPC), a leading provider of management and technology services to the healthcare industry, has hired Brian Beinborn, as Vice President of its Epic Practice. In this capacity, Beinborn will be responsible for delivering technology solutions to CPC’s current and future Epic clients, building and managing CPC’s Epic team, and identifying prospective Epic opportunities.
He has substantial healthcare information technology and leadership experience. During his more than 11 years working directly for the Epic organization, he compiled a unique knowledge of the Epic system and its best practice use. During this time, he managed complex, multi-application software installs including timeline, budget, environment strategies, customer-training cycle, and executive reporting. His comprehensive career includes leading 13 hospital electronic medical record (EMR) go-lives, obtaining multiple Epic software certifications, and serving as a frequent presenter at Epic’s annual User’s Group Meeting and Expert’s Group Meeting.

His application experience includes end-to-end project planning, process redesign, system build out, workflow validation, system testing, end-user training and go-live support. He has facilitated integrated customer design sessions, presented best practices and system configuration recommendations, and assisted numerous customers optimize their Epic clinical applications through Epic’s Continuous Improvement Program. Brian has implementation, testing and training experience with application integration, including OpTime, Anestesia, EpicCare Ambulatory, Hospital Billing, Radiant (radiology), Cupid, Cadence (scheduling), ADT (Grand Central), ASAP (emergency room), HIM (chart tracking), ClinDoc, Orders, and Willow (Pharmacy).
