National Association of Social Workers – WI Chapter 50th Annual Statewide Conference

Each year, hundreds of social workers gather to continue their education, network, and seek new ways to improve their practice either in-person, or watching via live stream.
The theme this year is “Social Work Power: Advancing Equity for Change” and the conference will be held on October 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport, 6401 South 13th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221.

With three days of general sessions, panels and workshops, attendees are constantly gaining knowledge and skills, sharing best practices and networking with social work professionals from around the state.

Our town hall this year will be on climate change and mental health with Rachel Forbes, MSW, author of the book, “Ecosocial Work: Environmental Practice and Advocacy”.  Keynote speakers include Dr. Anthony Estreet, Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Social Workers, and Dr. Arther Romano, Assistant Professor at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University and The Elise Bouling Scholar Practitioner for the National Peace Academy.

We expect over 600 social workers and other professionals to attend both in person and virtually.
