Chimeng Yang, Banking Center Manger, Cottage Grove of Wisconsin Bank & Trust, was appointed to the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce (HWCC) Board of Directors.
The HWCC is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing economic development assistance in business planning, market analysis, marketing strategies, and effective day-to-day business operations. It acts as a business and economic advocate for Hmong and Southeast Asian communities and a forum for entrepreneurial discussions.
As a board member, Chimeng meets with reputable, growing businesses to promote the organization’s programs and identify partnership and employment opportunities for the Hmong and Southeast Asian communities. He also helps to underwrite granted loans as a member of the loan committee.
Chimeng also serves on the Ambassador Committee of the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce.
