The Milwaukee office of MWH Law Group LLP announced has promoted Nelson W. Phillips III to partner.

Phillips brings over 17 years of litigation experience to MWH Law Group in both private practice and as a former federal and state prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge. Phillips is experienced in representing clients in a variety of matters, including contract disputes, white collar investigations, general negligence claims, premises liability claims, product liability claims and intellectual property claims.
Phillips is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and the University of Michigan. He serves as Board Member of the Landmark Credit Union Board of Directors, Board Member of the Wheaton Franciscan-Elmbrook Memorial Foundation Board, and Board Member for the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association.
